Due to the high volume of absences during tournament time, the school has several expectations for students to meet:
- Students must present a ticket and a written note from parent or guardian giving them permission to attend the tournament. If tickets are not available until the day of the tournament game, a ticket stub must be turned in the following day by Noon to verify attendance.
- Students will not be released until after second hour.
- No phone calls will be accepted.
- No students will be allowed to go home to watch the tournament on TV.
- A daytime phone number must be included to verify the note, if necessary. If the note is questionable and the parents or guardian cannot be reached, the student will not be released from school.
Parents have the responsibility to inform the school of their student's absences. The school has the authority to accept or deny requests. If your student is unable to attend school during the tournament games, a medical note may be required. Students do best when there is good communication and cooperation between parents/guardians and the school. Please help us during this fun filled and very busy time.
