North High School participates in Target's Take Charge of Education Program.  We receive 1 percent of the dollar amount of purchases made at Target with the Target Card or Target Visa Card, and a half percent of purchases made anywhere else with the Target Visa.

These small percentages add up to thousands of dollars each year as more and more parents, relatives, alumni, and community members name North as their school of choice in the Take Charge of Education program.  Twice a year a committee headed by the North Parent Group chair and including student, staff and parent representatives considers and selects staff requests for grants for additional activity or classroom materials, equipment or programs.
