Parking for Vehicles (Policy 804)

1. A parking permit is required for students who choose to drive to school and park in the school lot or the approved area of St. Mark’s lot. The fee for the permit is $100.00 a year and $50.00 a semester. Vehicles will be tagged if parked in unauthorized areas.
2. Park vehicles within marked areas.
3. Students whose cars are parked without a valid parking permit will be towed.
4. Students who have purchased a parking permit but do not have it properly displayed will receive:
   • First Offense - warning
   • Second Offense - Saturday School
   • Third Offense - Vehicle Towed
5. Vehicles are not to be driven off the lot without a valid permit to leave during the day between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Students attending PSEO, VoTech classes or who have been approved for earl dismissal may leave at approved times. (Students may not go to or move vehicles until 2:00 p.m. once they have parked).
6. Students are not permitted to go to vehicles during school hours.
7. Any student involved in using, making or distributing forged parking permits will be referred to the police for prosecution. In addition, North High consequences may include suspension, loss of parking permit privileges without fee refund, or other consequences deemed appropriate.
