Parent Meetings and Programs

Coffee with the Principal

Beginning October 9, Principal Greg Nelson invites parents to join him for coffee (or tea) at North the second Tuesday morning of each month (except December, March and May). This is a time for casual conversation about all things North before your workday begins.

Coffees with the Principal run from 6:30-8:00 a.m. in the North Cafeteria. Parents can drop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time - it's up to you and your schedule.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

First Term:
Thursday, October 25  4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Monday, October 29    7:30 - 10:30 a.m.


Second Term:
January 31    4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
February 1     Noon - 3 p.m.


Third Term:
April 24     4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
(No Day Conferences available this term)

Special Programs for Parents during Conferences

The following programs are sponsored by North’s Guidance Department. No reservation is needed. If you have questions or want more information about any of these programs, please call 748-6030.

October 25:
College Selection for Parents, 6:45-7:45 p.m., Forum (Open to all interested parents).

January 31:
College Financial Aid Night for Parents, 5:45-6:45 p.m., Rm. 153-57 AND 

High Potential Information Session, 6:45-7:45 p.m., Forum 
(Advanced Placement Program, College in the Schools, Mentor Connection, Post Secondary Education Option.)

April 24:
Post High School Planning Seminar for Junior Students & Parents 6:30-7:30 p.m., Forum

All North parents are invited to attend three Parent Group meetings during the school year. Parent concerns, questions, suggestions and comments are welcome here.
