Extra Credit Opportunity:
Choose a song that relates to Tuesday with Morrie and do the following things: 1. Print out the song lyrics and attach to the response described below.
2. Write a 2 page typed response in MLA format. In this response, you need to answer the 5 analytical questions (see below) and spend some time tying your song into Tuesday with Morrie. You must provide at least 3 specific quotes from Morrie (correctly cited). Use the quotes as an opportunity to state your views and explain Morrie's point of view. Questions to for song: 1.What is the author’s message? What is he saying? 2.How would you describe the mood or tone? 3.What is significant or important about this song? 4.How does the song relate to Tuesdays with Morrie? 5.What is your personal response to the song?

Tuesday, March 25th 1. Work time in Media Center 2. Topic- create a topic using a question (make sure you have a back up plan just in case your topic is not approved) 3. Topics are due by the end of the hour. 4. Next answer the narrowing your topic questions at the bottom of page 6 in your packet. 5. Read page 36 in packet 6. Finally begin looking for possible sources in the Media Center. HW: Vocab Packet due Thursday.
