Dance Policy
- Students are expected to follow all school regulations and behavior expectations and will have disciplinary consequences for violations.
- A student or date whose behavior does not meet acceptable standards, including but not limited to, fighting, alcohol or drug use shall leave the dance and forfeit their privilege to participate in school sponsored dances for three consecutive dances including Prom – No Exceptions.
- A date is the responsibility of the accompanying North High Student. If a date violates the North High Dance Policy of no alcohol, tobacco, or illegal substances, both the student and the date shall leave the dance and forfeit their privilege to participate in school sponsored dances for three consecutive dances including Prom – No Exceptions.
- Students and dates are expected to follow the North High School dress code at dances. Failure to follow dress code may result in removal of student and/or date from dance with no refund of ticket.
- Inappropriate and/or immodest dancing will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the dance without warning and with no refund of the ticket.
- All dance tickets must be purchased prior to the dance. No tickets will be sold at the door the night of the dance and no one will be admitted without a ticket.
- All students attending a dance must present the North High Student Picture I.D. at the door. Even if you have purchased a ticket you will not be admitted without picture I.D. and your money will not be refunded.
- Students bringing a date from another school must submit a “Date Request" form by 3:00 p.m. the Wednesday prior to a dance. “Date Request” forms are available in the Activities Office.
- Students bringing a date must purchase a regular ticket. The date must present the ticket and a Picture I.D. at the door. Without a picture I.D. they will not be admitted and their will be no refund.
- A date must be currently enrolled in a High School or be a 2007 North High, Tartan or Hill Murray Graduate.
- Once students/guests are admitted to a dance, they cannot leave and be readmitted.
