Every student has the right to a safe, pleasant and clean space to eat lunch. In order to provide this we need to:
- Use appropriate behavior at all times.
- Be responsible for your own actions.
- Leave our area clean whether we found it that way or not.
- Recognize the rights of everyone to be treated with dignity.
- Cooperation is absolutely necessary to insure the rights of everyone who works and learns at North High.
- Give your name willingly when a supervisor asks.
- Arrive at lunch within the passing time.
- You may get permission from a supervisor to leave the lunchroom during lunch if you have a valid reason. The bell will dismiss you at the end of the lunch period.
- Leave open food and drink items in the cafeteria.
- Remain seated during lunch.
- Visit the school store only to purchase items and return to your cafeteria seat as quickly as possible.
Students are expected to eat lunch in the cafeteria and are not permitted to leave the school grounds.
